Well to late to predict the score but yet another good game from our lads. I waited all day and avoided all sports websites and emails to make sure I did not know the score. Well here in the USA the channel with the game on flashed the final score with about 20 mins to go! I swear but anyway….

The game from my living room was great to watch. We were knocking the ball around nicely and really showing why we had the belief of finishing in the top 4 at the beginning of the season. Darren Bent looks on form and I like him really. He seems to have a good attitude and scoring a hat-trick makes him that much better in my eyes. It was good to see Modric’ having a good game too. He seems to be coming around and looks like he is enjoying his football. Other notables in the game were Huddlestone and Bentley oh and Lennon. I just wish Lennon had the finishing cross or touch. Its somewhat frustrating to see him run down the wing only to whip in a bad cross.

I think we should be able to take Man City this week and truly get out of the bottom 3.

Spurs V’s Liverpool

Well what a week it has been. Our players look like they are once again committed. Goals are going in. the ball is bouncing our way and we have a new manager! Could this finally be the turn we have been looking for. This Sat will not be an easy game but it will be another good test for the mighty YIDS! I think if we come out like we did against Arsenal we could give them a good run. I am still not convinced on Liverpool winning the league this year as they tend to drop points when it gets crucial. Hopefully Spurs can start the trend for them this year.

Keano comes back to The Lane. I have mixed feelings on this one. I like the guys commitment to the game. When he had the shirt on he did give us 110%. I just hope this weekend he does not shine. I would rather him not play but I do not get to make that call. A win at home with our fans singing would be brilliant. This one I predict a 2-2 draw which really would not be a bad result. I think Bent should start as well. I am not sold on our Russian yet. Also Jenas I am starting to see what everyone has been saying about you. Sure you scored a great goal but I think some of your sloppy passes in the Arsenal game caused us more trouble than we deserved.

Redknapp to the Lane?

New rumors are flying around the net that Harry Redknapp maybe heading to the lane. I for one like the fella and would not be disappointed if he was here. What I would be disappointed in is the fact that we (or at least the board) Chased out Jol and we are yet again thinking of a new manager. When does it stop? When do we get an identity. Other than Chelski, look at the top “4″ clubs. The managers there have had plenty of time to mold the the team into what they want. They have players prepared to step in when someone gets hurt or retires. Do we even have a regular starting eleven?

What I would like to see is a proven scorer in the premier league come in and to drop the DoF position. I do not personally think it works in our league, let alone for Spurs. Something has to give! If we do not beat Bolton tomorrow we could be on pace with what Derby finished last year.

So come on you Spurs! Lets get it going. Players stay out of the media running your mouth and actually put a result together. Come Sunday of next week we could shut up all the loud mouths and really start to turn our season. One can only hope right?

Is Bentley really throwing a fit?

So my favorite newspaper for the dog to crap on The Sun has an article that is saying that David Bentley is running his mouth that Spurs are shite and that he is unhappy with where he has been playing recently. I will agree that we are not playing well at all. Does this give him the right to mouth off? I mean everyone wants to be the next big name in the Football world but who is actually proving there worth? At least Beckham will put his head down and continue to give it his all for club and country. He does not run his mouth in the press or sulk when he is asked to play out of position. It ridiculous. They get paid major bread if your told to play in goal get in there and shut your trap! All the sulking in the world will not make it better. If you do not want to play for cause then let us know. There are plenty of others that would love to be in your position. So I say stop thinking about your hair and start thinking about your club!

So again the wonderful biased media want to tell us how bad my beloved Spurs are. Well you know what? They can stuff it. Yeah the rest of the league are enjoying it too but for some reason I think tomorrow we kick of the season. I truly think the fans need to get behind the team. Yes the balance of the team seems way off to me. Yes we lost some our forwards and the ones filling in are not doing the job (and probably will never) but this is what we have until Jan. We can’t fire yet another manager. I think given time Ramos will take us where we need to go. So let get behind our team tomorrow and get this thing going….
